Configuring Your E-mail Accounts
Settings for setting up a desktop or smartphone e-mail client that Weblinx hosts are as follows:
Incoming POP3 & Outgoing SMTP Server: mail.domainname.com (where domainname.com is your domain name)
Username: Your full e-mail address
Password: Your password for the e-mail address
Secure E-mail Ports
POP3 (SSL) Incoming Port: Standard port of 995
IMAP (SSL) Incoming Port: Standard port of 993
SMTP (SSL) Outgoing Port: Standard port of 465
Alternative SMTP Port: 587, 26, or 45
Other Information
You need to pick either POP3 or IMAP as connection based on your needs. You should NOT use both services at the same time.
Note: If you are utilizing an always-on Internet connection from AT&T or Comcast and are having difficulties sending e-mails, you will need to contact them for how to send messages through their mail server instead of ours. Many providers do not allow 3rd party (port 25 or 465) relay of e-mail.
