Configuring Your E-mail Accounts

Settings for setting up a desktop or smartphone e-mail client that Weblinx hosts are as follows:

Incoming POP3 & Outgoing SMTP Server: mail.domainname.com (where domainname.com is your domain name)
Username: Your full e-mail address
Password: Your password for the e-mail address

Non Secure E-mail Ports

POP3 (No SSL) Incoming Port: Standard port of 110
IMAP (No SSL) Incoming Port: Standard port of 143
SMTP (No SSL) Outgoing Port: Standard port of 25
Alternative SMTP Ports: 26 or 45

Secure E-mail Ports

POP3 (SSL) Incoming Port: Standard port of 995
IMAP (SSL) Incoming Port: Standard port of 993
SMTP (SSL) Outgoing Port: Standard port of 465
Alternative SMTP Port: 587

Other Information

If you are using Non-SSL services do not have Secure Password Authentication (SPA) or encryption. In addition, you need to pick either POP3 or IMAP as connection based on your needs.  You may not use both services at the same time.

Note: If you are utilizing an always-on Internet connection from AT&T or Comcast and are having difficulties sending e-mails, you will need to contact them for how to send messages through their mail server instead of ours.  Many providers do not allow 3rd party relay of e-mail.

Web-based E-mail

To access the web-based e-mail software, you would go to https://webmail.domainname.com where domainname.com is your domain name.

Username: Your full e-mail address
Password: Your password for the e-mail address
